At the top of the pass, you can stop at the Auberge de Plan Bois to enjoy a relaxing gourmet break overlooking La Tournette!
Thônes -> Manigod -> Praz Riand -> Col de Plan Bois: Starting from the Tourist Office, turn right at the church onto the D12 towards Faverges and then the D16 towards Manigod. In Manigod, turn right towards the Col de Plan Bois and then continue. In the hamlet of Praz Riand, turn left towards the Col de Plan Bois. Follow the road to the pass.
Col de Plan Bois -> Les Clefs -> Thônes: from the pass, head south to descend to Les Clefs. Continue to Les Clefs then the D12, towards Thônes, on the right. Return to Thônes using the same route as the outbound journey.
