Admire the views from Col de Bluffy

This easy itinerary is ideal for an all-day cycling trip with stops along the way to take a stroll or make the most of the lake and the many cycling cafés to be found along the way

This loop itinerary follows the East bank’s hidden roads to offer alternative views of Lake Annecy. From the Col de Bluffy mountain pass, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the lake, the surrounding peaks and the picturesque castle of Menthon-Saint-Bernard.

The itinerary starts in Annecy, with 2 possible variants from Thônes or Faverges-Seythenex that rejoin the itinerary just before the Col de Bluffy or at Doussard.

Annecy -> Veyrier-du-Lac -> Col de Bluffy :
from the Tourist Office, follow the cycle path eastwards alongside the Pâquier green and the lake until you reach Veyrier-du-Lac, then take road D909 towards Bluffy.
Col de Bluffy -> Talloires-Montmin :
from the Col de Bluffy, take the D169 road towards Bluffy, turn right onto the D42 towards Talloires-Montmin, then continue to Talloires-Montmin on road D909a.
Talloires-Montmin -> Doussard -> Annecy :
as you leave Talloires-Montmin, rejoin the cycle path to return to Annecy via Doussard, Duingt, Saint-Jorioz and Sevrier.
