On Saturday, 15 August 2026, take part in the ‘Grimpée Cycliste Le Bouquetin’ road bike cycling event in the village of Le Grand-Bornand. This cycling race is open to all athletes aged 16 or over on the day of the event. The 8:30 am start time also marks the start of a fun-packed day, with a host of activities and entertainment in the Le Grand-Bornand resort!
On 3 and 4 October 2026, dVélos Lac d’Annecy invites you to Saint-Jorioz on Lake Annecy to discover the lake side and the Bauge Massif Regional Natural Park . On Sunday, 17 May 2026, set off on one of the four Randonnée des Sources du Lac cycle routes. Ranging from 25 to 104 km, all routes are open to all riders and both pedal power and electric power fans.
Inferno France 2026 will take place from 5 to 9 September 2026, starting from Annecy. The Ultra race des Géants will start from Annecy on 14 August 2026. Two road cycling routes against the clock: 300 km and 7,000 m of elevation gain in less than 30 hours, or 700 km and 17,500 m of elevation gain in less than 72 hours. Which challenge will you take on?
The Haute-Savoie Departmental Council is opening up a legendary mountain pass to cyclists (from beginners to experts !) every Tuesday between 9am and 12pm during the summer season.
In 2025, cyclists were able to tackle the mountain passes Col de Leschaux, Montée de la Sambuy, Montée du Semnoz and Plateau des Glières
