Come and put your skills to the test in the timed ascent up the Col de la Colombière.

On Saturday, 15 August 2026, take part in the ‘Grimpée Cycliste Le Bouquetin’ road bike cycling event in the village of Le Grand-Bornand. This cycling race is open to all athletes aged 16 or over on the day of the event. The 8:30 am start time also marks the start of a fun-packed day, with a host of activities and entertainment in the Le Grand-Bornand resort!

A weekend of cycling superb routes along the shores of Lake Annecy in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Bauges nature reserve.

On 3 and 4 October 2026, dVélos Lac d’Annecy invites you to Saint-Jorioz on Lake Annecy to discover the lake side and the Bauge Massif Regional Natural Park . On the programme the Saturday: a time trial up the Semnoz and on the Sunday three races in touring or timed mode. Choose the route that suits you best. Ready, set, pedal!

Les Sources du Lac d’Annecy hike and bike event

Head to Saint-Ferréol for a day that celebrates nature and cycling.

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, set off on one of the four Randonnée des Sources du Lac cycle routes. Ranging from 25 to 104 km, all routes are open to all riders and both pedal power and electric power fans.

Ultra races starting from Annecy

If you’re someone who’s constantly looking to push their limits, then these two ultra races are for you!

Inferno France 2026 will take place from 5 to 9 September 2026, starting from Annecy. In teams of two, you’ll race the route from Annecy to Menton in 3 stages, covering 625 km and 15,000 m of elevation gain. An extraordinary and exhilarating extreme adventure that will take you to the peaks of the French Alps.

The Ultra race des Géants will start from Annecy on 14 August 2026. Two road cycling routes against the clock: 300 km and 7,000 m of elevation gain in less than 30 hours, or 700 km and 17,500 m of elevation gain in less than 72 hours. Which challenge will you take on?

Haute-Savoie au Sommet (at the Summit)

Passes reserved for cyclists every Tuesday this summer!

The Haute-Savoie Departmental Council is proposing to open a legendary mountain pass to cyclists (beginners and experts alike!) every Tuesday between 9am and 12pm during the summer season.
In 2026, cyclists will be able to tackle the following four mountain passes:

Tuesday 30 June 2026: Plateau des Glières (10.5 km, including 9 km closed to traffic) from Fillière.
Thursday 16 July 2026: Col de Leschaux (12.8 km, including 9.3 km closed to traffic) from Sévrier.
Tuesday 21 July 2026: Montée de la Sambuy (6.3 km, including 5 km closed to traffic) from Seythenex.
Tuesday, 4 August 2026: Montée du Semnoz (17 km, including 11 km closed to traffic) from Annecy, Quintal and (12 km, including 11 km closed to traffic) from Leschaux.
