Wash stations for mountain bikes

After a muddy ride, you’ll no doubt want to wash your bike before hitting the trails again! Here are a few places where you can do this:

In Le Grand-Bornand, a bike-wash station with bike racks is available for use at the Rosay cable car base station during the cable car’s operating hours.

In La Clusaz, two bike-wash stations are open during the summer season (usually mid-June to mid-September, depending on when the ski lifts open) and are free to use. They can be found behind the Beauregard cable car station building and at the Crêt du Merle chairlift station.

In Manigod, head to the Col de la Croix Fry where you’ll find a bike-wash station next to the picnic room: It is open during the day and free to use, and also has bike racks.

At Les Sources du Lac d’Annecy, two free bike-wash stations are available along the greenway (more info in the paragraph below).

Some additional tools

Because you never know when you may get a flat tyre or need to carry out a repair…

In La Clusaz, you’ll find a repair station with a bike pump and a selection of small tools (screwdrivers, Allen keys etc.) available to use for free at the central roundabout (Passage des Edelweiss).

In Manigod, next to the Croix Fry picnic room, there’s also a tyre pump point and mini toolkit for repairs, all free to use.

At Les Sources du Lac d’Annecy, two free bike-wash and tyre pump stations are located along the greenway: one near the Val de Chaise pond and the other in Faverges-Seythenex, where the greenway meets the road to Albertville.
