The Télémix chairlift takes you up to the starting point for the Semnoz trails. Pick your route down from a choice of 4 trails of varying difficulty level: 1 green trail, 1 blue trail and 2 red trails. Your eyes firmly fixed on your chosen trail, you’ll navigate turns, jumps and obstacles, for the ultimate mountain biking experience. The green trail is suitable for all the family, while the more technical blue trail is designed for more advanced riders. Incorporating a number of modules, the two red trails require more skill and staying power, and are therefore aimed at experienced mountain bikers. Semnoz Bike Park opened in summer 2024, and the second red trail is set to open in 2025. More trails are currently being developed.
On weekend days in June and September and every day in July and August, a bus service runs to the Semnoz resort from Annecy bus station. For a €5 supplement, you can take your mountain bike with you, on the bike racks at the rear of the bus. Please note that, aside from this bike supplement, it is free to travel on this bus in July and August.
With 4 DH and 5 enduro trails served by 3 ski lifts, there’s something for everyone. All trails – whether through the heart of the mountain forest or down gentle tracks or steep slopes with banked turns – are designed for maximum enjoyment. Featuring modules, jumps and bridges, the La Clusaz trails are fun and exciting to ride. The Bike Patrol team regularly maintains the trails for your safety and enjoyment.
Three level-based technical areas add to the fun. The ‘Wall ride’, under the Crêt du Loup chairlift, features a wooden module with a sloping surface for experienced riders. In the forest near Lac de la Ferriaz lake, the ‘North Shore de la Ferriaz’ boasts trails of varying difficulty levels with jumps, bumps, tables, bridges and a suspension bridge. The final technical area, ‘Family Run’, is designed for beginners.
With several downhill and enduro trails designed especially for beginners and less experienced riders. The green ‘DH du Bois de la Motte’ trail is the perfect trail to start out on, while the blue ‘DH du Loup’ trail has recently been redesigned to make it more accessible. The ‘Family Run’ area, accessible via the Crêt du Merle chairlift, is, of course, also a great place to learn how to handle your bike. Wooden bridges, banked turns and whoops suitable for beginners initiate you in the thrills of mountain biking in complete safety!
