Festival Petit Patapon: A piece of paper’s story
Apr 4, 2018
This is the story of a piece of scratch paper, like a seed without roots, looking for a place to settle in and grow. A delicate balance between poetry and the ludicrous, innocence and mischief, bolstered by two instruments that provide dialogue to the show.
The office of an absent writer; books piled up, a pen lying still, and the garbage can filled with crumpled up first-drafts; a mix of light and dark where time seems to stand still.
With childlike innocence and curious eyes, it looks for a place page after page and deals with the hermetic nature of books, barriers that prove difficult to pass through. Looking for an identity, an origin, to discover true freedom.
