Free entertainment. Rates 2018 : Meal per peson: 15€ adult, 10 € child / lunch, 13 € / dinner

Traditions, local artisan craft, activities from yesteryear, folklore, country-style meals and dance.

Throughout the day: Hay Bale Throwing Contest, old craft making (wood and leather work), grannys’ coffee, bread baking in Lormay’s wood-fired oven, Reblochon cheese making, Cows’ parade… For the youngest or the most adventurous: pony rides, obstacle course. You will also be able to (re)discover the shingle rooftops’ making process (“ancelles” and “tavaillons” traditional wooden tiles).

And for those who have a sweet tooth: “Bescoin” (Savoyard anise brioche) and traditional doughnuts (sweet and savoury). Drinks and food stall.

2018 Programme:
– 8.30 to 6pm: herding dogs
– 10.30am: open-air mass
– 11.30am: running race
– 11.45am: apéritif-concert avec l’Harmonie du Grand-Bornand
– 12pm: country style lunch sold on site (Menu: Adult: salads, spit roasted lamb or sausage-fries, cheeses, ice cream or pudding. Children: sausage-fries, chips and ice cream)
– 12.45pm to 1.30: live music “La Note Beaujolaise”
– 1.30pm: Folk music with a live band
– 3.45pm: “descente des alpages” (cows come down from their summer pastures) and cows milking
– 4.45pm: live music with “Magalie Tochon, la yodleuse des Aravis”
– 6.15pm: demonstration of the Reblochon cheese making process
– 7pm: country style dinner sold on site (Menus: Tartiflette, charcuterie, salad and pudding or tomme blanche, potatoes and pudding)
– 8.30pm: dance by “Les Muzicos”
– 10pm: fireworks
